About

The Shareholder Committee, comprising five Executive members, is responsible for strategic oversight of the Council's share ownership in companies. It approves nominated non-executive directors and related best practice policies, considering company articles. The committee also agrees the framework for the Council's interface with its owned or influenced companies. Day-to-day functions are delegated to the Chief Finance Officer, with consultation of committee members as needed. This committee's role is not operational.
