Purpose

To amend the Council’s
Labour nominee to Banbury Traffic Advisory Committee.
 
To update the nominee to the
Oxfordshire Local Nature Partnership.

Resolved
 
(1)       
That Councillor Dr Kerrie Thornhill be appointed to the Banbury
Traffic Advisory Committee to replace Councillor Dr Chukwudi
Okeke.

 
(2)       
That Councillor David Hingley be appointed to the Oxfordshire Local
Nature Partnership to replace Councillor Tom Beckett.

Reasons for the decision

Following a change in membership of the Labour
Group, it is necessary to amend the Labour Nominee to the Banbury
Traffic Advisory Committee.
 
It is also necessary to amend the nominee to
the Oxfordshire Local Nature Partnership as we have been advised by
the Leader that he holds this role. Councillor Tom Beckett was
nominated in error. 

Alternative options considered

The following alternative options have been
identified and rejected for the reasons as set out below.
 
Option 1: Not to amend the representatives to
the outside bodies. This is not recommended, as the Labour Group
would not have a nominee to Banbury Traffic Advisory Committee and
the record would show incorrect information relating to the
Oxfordshire Local Nature Partnership.
