About
The Cheshire East Health and Wellbeing Board works in partnership to improve the health and wellbeing of Cheshire East residents by focusing on better outcomes and reducing health inequalities.
Its key responsibilities include preparing and updating joint assessments of local health needs and strategies. The Board also leads integrated working between health and social care commissioners, offering advice and support to encourage pooled budgets and joint provision of services. It facilitates collaboration between commissioners of health-related services, such as housing and other local government services, and those providing health and social care.
