Purpose

Being satisfied that traffic
should be prohibited to facilitate works, to give public notice of
and make a temporary road closure order under s14 of the Road
Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and all other enabling
powers to prohibit traffic on Waterside, Macclesfield outside
Orchard House for a period of 18 months or until the works have
been completed, whichever is the sooner.
