Purpose

The property is highlighted for disposal in the estate asset plan and was approved for disposal by Cabinet on the 3 September 2026.

Decision

To declare the property known as Yew Tree Farm, North Rode all as shown shaded red on the attached plan, surplus to requirements and approve the sale of the property as detailed in 1 – 3 below:

1        The farmstead and land amounting to 20.62 acres or thereabout shown shaded red and identified as Lot 1 to the party named and on the terms detailed in Appendix 1;

2      68.51 acres or thereabouts as shown shaded red and identified as Lot 2 on the open market.

3      To enter into all necessary documents to give effect to the agreed heads of terms for the transactions referred to in 1 & 2 above to be prepared and executed by the Interim Director of Law & Governance (Monitoring Officer)
