Cabinet Member for Housing

The Cabinet Member for Housing is responsible for making individual decisions on housing matters delegated to them by the Council's Constitution. This includes developing housing strategy, managing the council's housing stock, overseeing new council house building, addressing homelessness, and regulating the private rented sector. They also make decisions on home adaptations for residents.
