*RESOLVED
–
 

1.  
That the strategic direction and indicative funding proposals as
set out in the draft Chesterfield UK Shared Prosperity Fund
Investment Plan 2025/26, attached at Appendix 2 to the
officer’s report, be approved.
 

2.  
That authority be delegated to the Executive Director, in
consultation with the Leader of the Council and Service Director -
Finance, to make changes to the draft document to enable completion
of the Chesterfield UK Shared Prosperity Fund Investment Plan
before 31st March 2025.
 

3.  
That authority be delegated to the Executive Director, in
consultation with the Council Leader and the Service Director
– Finance, to approve individual projects to proceed in line
with the Chesterfield UK Shared Prosperity Fund Investment Plan for
2025 -2026, and on an ongoing basis, to approve changes in project
delivery in line with recommendations made by the Internal
Programme Board.
 

4.  
That £482,463 of UK Shared Prosperity Fund SPF funding be
added to the Capital Programme in 2025/26.
 
 
REASON FOR
DECISIONS
 
Work on the Investment Plan is
ongoing and the recommendations will enable the submission of the
Chesterfield UK Shared Prosperity Fund Investment Plan to the East
Midlands Combined County Authority, ready for continuation and
commencement of projects by 1st April 2025.
