That the work of the Housing Advisory Board over the past year be
noted.
 

2.  
That the Housing Improvement Plan, attached at Appendix 2 to the
officer’s report, be endorsed.
 
REASON FOR
DECISIONS
 
In April 2024, Cabinet approved a
recommendation to establish a new Housing Advisory Board in order
to strengthen Tenant and Member oversight of the housing
service’s performance and handling of complaints. A
commitment was made to return to Cabinet with a progress report,
outlining the activity of the Housing Advisory Board, one year
after its establishment.
