Purpose

At the Staveley 21 Project Board (17th October
2022), the board agreed the implementation of the Staveley 21
project, along with a list of appointments which could be
progressed to support this implementation.

The funding for the work was secured through the Town Deal, which
has allocated £5.9m for the development of the Staveley 21
project.

Content

That the Service Director for Economic Growth
approves:

• The appointment of Stepnell on stage 1 of a two-stage design
and build route on the basis of a pre-construction services
agreement (PCSA) at a cost of £365,806.

• That a letter of intent be issued to Stepnell for half of
their proposed RIBA stage 3 costs (£65,490.59)
