*RESOLVED –
 

1.  
That the proposed fees and charges, as set out in
Appendix A of the officer’s report, be approved with effect
from 1 August 2024 until 31 March 2025.
 

2.  
That authority be delegated to the Service Director
- Leisure, Culture and Community Wellbeing, in consultation with
the Cabinet Member for Health and Wellbeing, to introduce any
appropriate fees and charges for new activities and opportunities
that are introduced during the period covered by this
report.
 

3.  
That authority be delegated to the Service Director
- Leisure, Culture and Community Wellbeing, to work with the
Derbyshire Football Association, the Football Foundation and local
football clubs through the Home Advantage Programme and/or other
similar programmes to develop opportunities for the clubs to reduce
their reliance on the Council for the preparation and maintenance
of grass football pitches through the football season.
 
REASONS FOR RECEOMMENDATIONS
 

1.  
To comply with the Council’s Budget Strategy
for recovering fees and charges to contribute to the costs of
service delivery.
 

2.  
To seek to establish a sustainable way forward for
the provision of outdoor grass football pitches within the
Council’s parks and open spaces.
