The Grants and Concessions Panel considers applications for financial assistance and grant relief from local groups, organisations, and specific businesses within Chichester.
It makes recommendations to the relevant Cabinet Member regarding funding for capital projects, operational expenses, and non-domestic rate relief for non-profit bodies, rural stores, pubs, and petrol stations. The panel also reviews applications for business grants and the Landlord Accreditation Scheme, adhering to established eligibility criteria. Decisions on capital and revenue grants up to £2000 are delegated to the Cabinet Member.
