About

The Public Facing Housing, Communities, Culture and Sports Panel advises the Cabinet on a wide range of policy areas. Its remit includes housing strategy, standards, financial assistance, enforcement, and allocations, as well as affordable housing delivery and efforts to reduce rough sleeping. The panel also provides advice on community-related policies such as anti-social behaviour, safeguarding, wellbeing services, and community engagement. Additionally, it considers policies for revenues and benefits, customer services, communication strategy, and culture, leisure, sport, events, and tourism.
