Purpose

To seek approval to draw down £160K CIL monies in order to allow a tender process for a contractor to build the path.

Decision

Resolved:

1. 1.2.1 That Cabinet recommends to Council that the release of £155,000 of Community Infrastructure Levy monies is approved, to enable delivery of the Oaklands Park Path project (IBP/1451).
2. 2.2 That Cabinet authorises the Director of Planning and Environment in consultation with the Section 151 officer and the Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Environmental Strategy, following a successful tender process, to appoint a contractor for the delivery of the path and to expend the approved budget.
