Purpose

In accordance with the Housing, Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy 2025-30 funding to be allocated to Housing Standards for the duration of the strategy

Decision

Recommendation to Council:

1. 1 To recommend to Council that £1m of funding, already reserved for this purpose in February 2025, be allocated as outlined in section 5.1 of this report to support the delivery of the Council’s Housing, homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy 2025 – 2030.
2. 2 To recommend to Council to delegate authority to the Divisional Manager for Housing, Revenues and Benefits to keep the allocation of the £1m funding and expenditure under review and make changes as required to support the strategic aims of the above strategy.
