Purchase of a property under LAHF Programme which exceeds the £250,000 delegated authority

Decision

Recommendation to Council:

1. 2     Cabinet recommends to Council: -
2. 1.2.1  That Delegated Authority be given to the Director of Growth and Place, following consultation with the Leader and Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Property, for the purchase of a property under the Local Authority Housing Fund for £280,000.
3. 1.2.2  That Delegated Authority be given to the Director of Growth and Place, following consultation with the Leader and Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Property, for the purchase of future properties under LAHF up to the value of £350,000 per property provided that the total spend on the four properties planned for this round shall not exceed authority already obtained.
