Overview and Scrutiny Committee

The Overview and Scrutiny Committee acts as the Council's watchdog, reviewing services, policies, and performance to recommend improvements. It can call-in Executive decisions for reconsideration, hold inquiries into local concerns, and promote transparency and accountability. The committee's work aims to support the Council's strategic goals and enhance service delivery for residents. It does not handle individual complaints or matters related to planning or licensing decisions.
