The Executive Member (Resources) approves the award
of the contract for Mimecast (Email Security Software) by way of
extension of the existing contract to Softcat PLC as the incumbent
supplier who has demonstrated best value and competitive
pricing.

 
2.            
Procurement is via the NHS Shared Business Services
(SBS) Framework as a direct award.

 
3.            
The hierarchical procurement route has been
previously agreed by Executive Cabinet on 18 January
2024.
