1.     
That the Executive Member approves the revised
procurement strategy for the appointment of a contractor to
undertake the Brinscall Baths, Astley
Community Centre & Eaves Green Community Centre - Public Sector
Decarbonisation Scheme via the Clear Futures, RISE or a comparable
framework.

2.     
To note that a further report will be presented to
the Executive Cabinet for approval of the contractor appointment
following completion of the procurement process.
 
Reasons for recommendations

1.     
To progress essential improvement works to address
critical issues with the building’s fabric and
services.

2.     
To deliver decarbonisation measures funded through
the Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme Phase 4, supported by over
£5 million in Salix funding.

3.     
To contribute to the Council’s strategic
objective of achieving net carbon zero by 2030 by reducing energy
consumption and integrating renewable energy
technologies.
