Reasons for
recommendation
It
is the most cost-effective way to manage, support and maintain the
council CCTV cameras in comparison to other options considered. It
will include an initial preventative maintenance survey followed by
annual preventative measures and reactive maintenance support.
 
Other options
considered and rejected
Other suppliers were considered following a
tender exercise. Costs were excessive compared to the spend over
the last three years for CCTV camera support on an ad hoc
basis.  Such an award has been rejected
as not cost-effective.
