Together for Families Overview and Scrutiny Committee

The Committee has responsibility in providing effective critical friend challenge to both pre-decision/policy development and post-decision scrutiny to ensure effective decision making processes to improve outcomes for all children and families in Cornwall.  The Committee's responsibilities include child poverty, child protection and safeguarding, children’s psychology services, children’s rights, children’s social care, disabled children and therapy services, early intervention services for vulnerable children, early years and foundation stage provision, education provision, health visiting and school nursing, special education needs provision, youth offending and youth provision
