February 6, 2025 Chief Executive Officer - Jane Portman (Officer) Approved View on council website
Full council record
Purpose

To consider Rural England
Prosperity Funding
applications.

Content

The
Chief Executive resolved to approve the recommendations of the
Rural England Prosperity Fund Assessment Panel and award funding to
two projects in the district relating to cultural and heritage
buildings. (See annex)

Reasons for the decision

To enable the Council to make
use of the Rural England Prosperity Funding allocated to it by
Government and to approve applications by organisations in the
District which will help the Council to deliver the outputs and
outcomes set out in the REPF Local Investment Plan
addendum.

Alternative options considered

Not to approve the
panel’s recommendations.  To do so
may risk failing to spend the allocation available and not
delivering the outputs and outcomes expected of the
Council.
