Purpose

To determine, in accordance with the Localism Act 2011, the Nomination of an Asset of Community Value for inclusion on the Cotswold District Council List of Assets of Community Value.

Decision

The Assets of Community Value Officer in consultation with the Ward Member, resolved to approve the listing of Horcott Lakes as an Asset of Community Value.  The listing applies to the full HM Land Registry entry, namely Titles: GR397862, GR398063

Reasons for the decision

Based on the evidence provided at annexes A and B and consideration of the tests set out in : Section 88(1), including Present Qualifying Use Test – S.88(1)(a) and Anticipated Continuing Use Test – S.88(1)(b);  and

Section 88(2), of the Localism Act 2011, it was concluded that the premises in question should be listed as an asset of Community Value.

Given the evidence provided there were no alternative options.
