To increase council housing rents in line with
the Government Policy on Rents for Social Housing by 7.7% from 1
April 2024 and move existing properties where the rent has been set
in accordance with the local housing allowance to an affordable
rent in line with the agreement with Homes England upon a change of
tenancy as set out in the report.
