The Scrutiny Co-ordination Committee oversees and manages the council's scrutiny function, working with six Scrutiny Boards made up of councillors not on the Executive. It coordinates the work of these boards, conducts cross-cutting reviews, and considers 'call-ins' where councillors wish to discuss Cabinet decisions in more detail. The committee also has direct responsibility for reviewing Council Resources (Finance, HR, ICT, Legal) and the abc Transformation Programme.
