The Corporate Director of Place approved the second year extension of the Highway Maintenance Term Service Contract with FM Conway on 22nd July 2026. This decision extends the contract from 1 October 2026 to 30 September 2027, increasing its overall value by £19m to £149m. The decision also noted that the council has received written agreement from FM Conway to delay formal notification of the extension and provided a letter of comfort.
