Purpose

The Mayor’s Delivery Plan will set out how the organisation will deliver the outcomes as detailed in the Mayor’s Business Plan over the period 2026-30 under the following areas

• A cleaner safer Croydon
• A town centre that is busy, confident and thriving
• Stronger local high streets and economies
• A fair deal for residents
• Better roads, better journeys
• Places people can be proud to call home
• Backing families, young people

Decision - Request approval for the proposals for delivery put forward in the Organisational Plan 2026-30

Decision

For the reasons set out in the report, the Executive Mayor and Cabinet AGREED to:

1. 1 Approve the Executive Mayor's Delivery Plan 2026-2030 (Appendix 1) as the Council’s framework for delivering the priorities of the Executive Mayor's Business Plan 2026-2030.
2. 2 Note that the Executive Mayor’s Business Plan 2026-2030 will be considered by Page 40 Full Council on 21st October 2026 for adoption as the Council’s Corporate Plan and that consequential amendments may be required to the Delivery Plan following that decision.
3. 3 Note that delivery of the Plan will be aligned to the Financial Strategy 2027 2030 and delivered within approved budgets and existing governance arrangements.
4. 4 Agree that progress against the Plan will be monitored and reported to Cabinet every six months.
5. 5 Agree that the Plan will be reviewed annually to ensure it remains focused, deliverable and aligned to the Council's priorities and resources.
