It is recommended that the Director of Adult
Social Care & Housing, award the Contract for a Short Breaks
Service for Adults with a Learning Disability and/or Autism in West
Cumbria to West Cumbria Care and Support (T/A West House) following
a regulated procurement exercise.
 

Reasons for the decision

The decision is required so that the Council
can continue to provide this short break provision.
 

Alternative options considered

Do not award the Contract.
Award the Contract to another
provider.
