It is recommended that the Assistant Director
authorises the Chief Legal Officer to make an order under Section
119 of the Highways Act 1980 to divert public footpath no 404016 in
the parish of Distington as shown A-B to a new route A-C-D-B on the
plan attached as Appendix 1 and in the event no objections are made
to the order, that the Chief Legal Officer be authorised to confirm
the order.
