This ODR relates to obtaining permission to
process an order to create a section of public footpath at St Bees
Promenade in the parish of St Bees
 
It is recommended that the Assistant Director
authorises 
 
the decision to abandon the order made on 7
February 2024 under Section 26 of the Highways Act 1980 to create
public footpath no 423020 in the parish of St Bees (copy attached
as Appendix 1); and
 
the Chief Legal Officer to make an order under
Section 26 of the Highways Act 1980 to create public footpath no
423020 in the parish of St Bees as shown A-B-C-D-E-F-G-H-I on the
attached order plan at Appendix 2 and in the event no objections
are made to the order, that the Chief Legal Officer be authorised
to confirm the order
