Procure via mini competition using Lot 1
(Spray Injection Patching) of the current Specialist Highway
Patching Framework two spray injection patching machine for 9 weeks
to work in the North Cumberland area.

Reasons for the decision

To allow quick and efficient repair of
potholes and carriageway irregularities and allow the council to
react promptly to defects identified through inspections and
reports from the public.

Alternative options considered

The alternative option was not to procure
spray injection patching machine. But this would reduce the
council’s options to respond proactively to highway
defects
