To give permission to procure a
new contract for the provision of Highways Service Vehicles. The
proposal is to seek approval to obtain prices for 4-year lease
contracts for the various Chapter 8 compliant Highways Service
Vehicles required to deliver the Council’s highways functions
and obligations. The report will also request permission to award
the contract following the procurement exercise be delegated to the
Director of Place, Sustainable Growth and Transport. The value of
the contract will not exceed £1.9m
