Allocation of revenue and capital funding
 
1.1 
Funding has been allocated to the Council to create new childcare
places. The proposal is to administer the funding through a grant
funding programme for revenue and capital funding.
 
1.2 
The Council have been allocated £2.7m revenue funding to
create new before and after school childcare places for primary
aged children and £593k capital funding to create full time
places for 9 month plus and 2-year-old children and before and
after school childcare places.

Approval to disseminate £2.7m revenue funding and £593k
capital funding though a grant funding programme for wraparound
care and expansion of early years childcare places.
