This ODR relates to obtaining
permission to permission to process an order to divert sections of
public footpath at Pow Beck and Scalegill Beck in the parish of St Bees as shown on
plans attached.
 
Recommendation to
the Executive Director
 
It is recommended that the
Assistant Director authorises the Chief Legal Officer to make an
order under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 to divert public
footpath no 422011 in the parish of St Bees (formerly Rottington) as shown A-B as an unbroken line to a
new route shown A-B by a broken line on the attached plan 1 and to
divert public footpath no 423007 in the parish of St Bees as shown
A-B to a new route shown B-C on the attached order plan 2 and in
the event no objections are made to the order, that the Chief Legal
Officer be authorised to confirm the order.
