This ODR relates to obtaining
permission to process an order to create sections of public
footpath at Hannahmoor Lane in the
parishes of St Bees (formerly Rottington) and Whitehaven as shown on plans 1 and
2 attached.
 
Recommendation to
Executive Director
 
It is recommended that the
Assistant Director authorises the Chief Legal Officer to make an
order under Section 26 of the Highways Act 1980 to extend public
footpath no 422005 in the parish of St Bees (formerly Rottington) as shown A-B-C and to extend public
footpath no 422006 in the parish of St Bees (formerly Rottington) as shown D-C-E and to extend public
footpath no 431039 in the parish of Whitehaven as shown I-G and to
create a new section of public footpath no 431073 in the parish of
Whitehaven as shown E-F-G-H on the attached order plans 1 and 2 and
in the event no objections are made to the order, that the Chief
Legal Officer be authorised to confirm the order.
