The application was called to committee by Cllr Higgs in Feb 2023.

The Parish Council originally objected to the application but their latest response states:

When the original application was received, there had been no response from Highways. Highways have now responded to say they are happy with the proposed visibility splays and access. The committee therefore does not object, provided the recommendations made by Highways are met.

Cllr Dobson has objected to the application as County Councillor for Corby and Hayton

To be submitted to Committee

Public interest due to proximity to artery road / highway / junction

f)         planning applications which are defined as a departure from the adopted development plan for which the Secretary of State must be consulted as identified in the Town and Country Planning (Consultation) (England) Direction 2009 or in any successor document and where it is intended to recommend approval. (any departure that is of a certain scale would be picked up under the triggers for the Strategic Committee)

.

Alternative options considered

All applications were considered, where a decision has been taken not to take the application to Planning Committee, the reason is detailed in section 2.
