To appoint the following Members and Officers
as the Cumberland Council representatives on the Health and
Wellbeing Board:
 
Leader of the Council
Deputy Leader (Statutory) and Executive Member
- Governance and Thriving Communities
Deputy Leader (Non Statutory) Statutory Lead
for Children's Services and Executive Member for Children's, Family
Wellbeing and Housing
Executive Member - Adult's and Community
Health
Director of Public Health and Communities
Director of Children and Family Wellbeing
Director of Adult Social Care and Housing
 

Reasons for the decision

The Cumberland Council Constitution (Part 2
– Section 5: Functions of Committees) requires that the
Leader nominate at least one elected representative of Cumberland
Council to the Health and Wellbeing Board
 

Alternative options considered

Not to appoint to the Health and Wellbeing
Board however this may mean that the Council’s interests are
not sufficiently represented, and the requirements of the
Constitution would not be met
