Council agreed, on 30 April 2024, agreed a
criteria for the appointment of representatives to outside
bodies.
 
NCG oversee the activity of seven UK colleges
including Carlisle College.  The
Director of Governance, NCG, approached Cumberland Council seeking
a representative to the Carlisle College Board.
 
The Carlisle College Board meets the criteria
agreed by Council, as a result Councillor Elaine Lynch has been
appointed Cumberland Council’s representative on the Carlisle
College Board.
