Purpose

Permission to
procure a Contractor via Single Stage Tender for the delivery of
the Arts & Enterprise Centre, Millom – part of the
Reactivating Heritage Buildings project within the Millom Town
Deal. In addition delegated authority to the Director of Business
Transformation and Change for the subsequent award of the
contract.

To approve the permission to procure a
Contractor via Single Stage Tender for the delivery of the Arts
& Enterprise Centre, Millom – part of the Reactivating
Heritage Buildings project within the Millom Town Deal.
 
The project is funded through the Millom Town
Deal, with an overall budget allocation of £1,951,648 with a
delivery deadline of March 2026. The proposed approach keeps the
procurement and delivery programme to in line with the deadline of
March 2026.
 
The likely works contract is estimated to
increase from that included within the original Business Case:
