The Office for Heath
Improvement and Disparities (OHID) allocated £701,943 to
Cumberland Council for the financial year 2023/24. The funding was
awarded to following an application made for additional monies via
the Supplementary Substance Misuse Treatment & Recovery Grant
(SSMTRG) and a Memorandum of Understanding was signed to accept the
terms of the funding allocation (Appendix 1). This funding was
used, as per the terms of the MoU, to enhance the provision of
substance misuse services in Cumberland.
