The Council will vary the Contract with
Carlisle Mencap to provide terms for the repayment from Carlisle
Mencap of overpaid charges over a 12-month
period (1st September 2024- 31st
August 2025).

A Variation to the Contract will set out terms
to cover the risk of this remaining funding not being recouped
should the Contract terminate early for any reason.
 
The provider has been consulted on a viable
approach to repayment which ensures that the Council receives
funding due within a reasonable time but
which takes account of the cashflow of the provider.
