About
The Standards Committee is responsible for ensuring that elected and co-opted Members of the Council adhere to the Council’s Code of Conduct. It considers and investigates alleged breaches of the code. The committee's role is to uphold ethical standards in local government, ensuring public trust and accountability among councillors. Its decisions and recommendations aim to maintain the integrity of the council's operations and the conduct of its representatives.
