PH-014-25 - Extension of repairs and maintenance contracts
June 6, 2025 Portfolio Holder for Housing & Property Services (Cabinet member) Key decision Approved View on council websiteFull council record
Purpose
The Council is currently in the
process of procuring its future Repairs, Maintenance and Capital
Delivery contracts, all which are set to commence in July 2026.
These include:
Lot 1 – Repairs,
Maintenance and Capital Delivery
Lot 2 – Mechanical and
Electrical
Lot 3 – Lift
Maintenance
Lot 4 – Fire, Safety and
Security
Lot 5 –
Legionella
To allow sufficient time for
this procurement, the Council extended the existing TAM contract
with Cardo by two years, with an expiry date of 30th June
2026.
In 2023, through the
Interim Contract Strategy several non-compliant agreements were
formalised. Most of these agreements involve managing or supporting
workstreams delivered by Cardo. Most of these providers are local
SMEs, and feedback from the client officer indicates they are
delivering a high-quality service for the Council and our
residents.
