Purpose

The extension is needed in order for the Aecom
Phase 2 North Hemel Transport Study and Wider Transport Activities
works to be completed which
supports Dacorum’s Local Plan. Outputs from the works are
needed to inform the Hemel Garden Communities Infrastructure
Delivery Plan (IDP) which is due for
completion in July 2025 and is a fundamental consideration of the
Local Plan
examination taking place in the Autumn 2025.

Approval for additional expenditure and
extension to the Aecom
Phase 2 works of the North Hemel Transport Study and Wider
Transport Activities in order to complete the works to support
Dacorum’s Local Plan.
