Purpose
The current Occupational Health (OH) contract
expires on 25th September 2025, and we have taken the opportunity
to explore alternative service providers through the ESPO
Framework.
Occupational Health is a vital support service for both employees
and managers. It offers expert advice and recommendations on staff
wellbeing and provides guidance on how best to support employees in
returning to work, expertise that is not available internally
within the Council. This service is essential to the
Council’s operations, helping to reduce sickness absence and
promoting the overall health and wellbeing of our workforce.
