Purpose

Reason: The agreement supports the delivery of
defined projects that contribute towards the UKSPF employability
priority theme. This includes supporting people to progress towards
and into employment, developing employment-related skills, and
providing advice and support to businesses.
Background: Dacorum Borough Council has been allocated
£576,888 of UK Shared Prosperity Funding from MHCLG for
2025/2026. Cabinet approved the proposed allocations in July 2025.
The funding to Herts Futures will support the delivery of the
following projects:
Herts Screen Office £ 5,000
Herts Growth Hub £ 30,000
Herts Start Up £ 30,000
Herts Opportunity Portal £ 20,000
Inward Investment £ 10,000
Pathways to Employment £ 20,000
Total: £115,000
