Purpose

Approval is sought for an extension and
increase in costs to a Direct Award with Bloom Procurement Services
for specialist consultancy support.
The consultant has been involved in the drafting and consultation
of the
draft HGC Stewardship and Placemaking Supplementary Planning
Document (SPD) which will provide the policy guidance and delivery
processes for those bringing
forward planning applications within the HGC Programme Area.
The SPD is currently out for public consultation and once closed,
there will be tasks linked to the feedback received. In parallel
with the outcomes of the public consultation and approval process
for adoption, a number of key tasks have been identified in the
Stewardship Programme Plan with tasks that need to happen over the
next 9 months.
