Purpose

Background:
The Council’s current Domestic Gas Maintenance contract,
which has been in place for 10 years, is due to expire on the 31st
March 2024.
The Council require a new contract to be in place by 1st April
2024, to provide a comprehensive servicing of a mixed fleet of
domestic appliances in accordance with The Gas Safety (Installation
and Use) Regulations 1998.
Purpose of the Report:
This report is approve the award of the Heating and Ventilation
Contract for a 7-year period with the option to extend for a
further 3 years to Aaron Services Limited.

Decision

To approve the award of a contract for the
Supply of Heating and Ventilation Services and Installations for
Housing Assets to Aaron Services Limited for a 7 year period with
the option to extend for a further 3 years.
