Purpose

The Council is responsible for arranging
buildings insurance for most of its housing leasehold properties
under associated lease terms. The costs of this insurance are met
initially by the Council and then recovered from the
Council’s housing leaseholders in full. There is a legal
obligation on the Council to provide this insurance cover.

Decision

The approval to award contract for the
provision of leasehold building insurance to Aspen for a period of
one year plus an option to extend for a further year, commencing
31st December 2023.
