Purpose

Historically, little, if any, work has been
undertaken to develop a digital solution to automate the gathering
and cataloguing of Local Plan consultation responses received in
different formats and potentially on multiple engagement and media
platforms. The SWH authorities want to understand whether there is
the potential for a suitable solution to be developed and, in
consultation with the DLUHC Digital Planning team, want to appoint
a suitable supplier to develop and deliver a solution. Addressing
this challenge is the primary focus of this contract award.

Decision

The approval to award a contract to deliver a
digital solution for the processing and analysis of Local Plan and
Strategic Plan consultation responses to Alma Economics for a 12
month period to October 2024.
