Decision

Cabinet:

i.Awarded the contract to the preferred bidder (set out in Part II report) for the delivery of the Hemel Hempstead Electric Bike Hire Scheme.

ii.Approved the release of £1,004,690 of Core CIL funding towards the delivery of the Hemel Hempstead Electric Bike Hire Scheme.

iii.Noted the contribution of funding of £500k from Herts IQ towards the scheme; and

iv.Delegated authority to the Assistant Director Planning (in consultation with the Portfolio Holder Place) to take operational decisions on the rollout and operation of the scheme.
